When using any product with laundry, first check for colorfastness of fabric (in an inconspicuous area). Apply De-Solv-it CITRUS SOLUTION to both sides of fabric and work gently to blot and remove. Rinse any remaining residue under faucet before reapplying and laundering. Apply TIDE® liquid detergent (recommended) on problem area before laundering. Detergent actually helps »

De-Solv-it products do not have a stated shelf life. The only issue that crops up with the product is freezing thru the winter. Should freezing occur the wax from the oil will solidify at the bottom of the container. This will not affect the performance of De-Solv-it. Just shake the container and the wax will »

De-Solv-it® can vary in color based on the orange oil received. The manufacturer uses natural orange-oil and due to Mother Nature the color can vary with each crop of oranges. The De-Solv-it® can vary in color from a light yellow to a dark orange. Typically the product color falls somewhere in the middle.

You can use either the regular De-Solv-it or Contractors™ Solvent. For labels you won’t really notice much of a difference, and neither product will harm the surface.

If you purchased De-Solv-it® in the one gallon refill it is advisable to keep an existing bottle on hand for refilling. The manufacturer uses a specific type of plastic in their bottles. Some plastics are actually broken down by De-Solv-it® and therefore can become porous and penetrated.
