1) Remove loose grime from carpet. 2) Spray the affected area. 3) Let sit for 60 seconds. 4) Blot stain with clean white towel or terry cloth towel. 5) Repeat if necessary. 6) If stain persists, try different Lift Off product to ensure correct Lift Off product is being used.

Yes, Two different formulas may be used on the same stain e.g., using Lift Off #1 & #2 to remove mayonnaise, which is actually a compound stain of egg white (protein) and salad oil (oily stain).
